The terrain is wooded and generally flat. Visitors can enjoy the day in one of many picnic areas or spend time exploring the park's miles of hiking and nature trails. A boat launch, plus shoreline fishing for trout, pike, bass, bullhead and perch, make the park popular with anglers.
